Jazz Classes (Including Jazz Technique)
Pre-Primary Jazz Class
Students aged 6-8 years will receive a 45 min. class once a week. Dancers are placed at the teachers discretion.
Jazz is a high energy style of dance. Class consists of a warm-up and muscle stretch to develop and improve flexibility. basic jazz traveling steps and body isolations.
Students require BEIGE slip on jazz shoes (Bloch Tan is preferred, but Capezio Caramel is accepted), as well proper dancewear.
Class attends two competitions.
Age as of September 30th -start of season.
Attire:
Bodysuit and tights/Bra-tops & shorts/Jazz pants & leggings.

Primary - Senior Jazz Class
Students aged 8 and up will receive a 45 min. class once a week. Jazz is a high energy style of dance. Class consists of a warm-up and muscle stretch to develop and improve flexibility. basic jazz traveling steps and body isolations.
Students require beige leather jazz shoes (preference is BLOCH Tan, but CAPEZIO Caramel is accepted), proper dancewear. (Split-soled slip-on jazz shoes only).
Class attends two competitions.
Age is of September -start of the season.

Adults require Black slip on shoes, and comfortable track style clothing. Experienced class is only available, no beginner class.

Jazz Technique/Conditioning (Inter/Senior Showstoppers only)
Focus on stretch & strength, with elements of core stability, increasing flexibility, as well as some cardio training.
Progressions to work on advanced turns & jumps down the floor.
